The Art of Getting By, featuring Emma Roberts and Freddie Fucking Highmore (possibly one of the most talented young actors of our generation) I don’t doubt that this movie is gonna turn out lovely! I’m not really sure how I feel about the plot but it’s refreshing to see Freddie branch out into a more rebellious roles, although i still don’t see Emma Roberts as the “edgy slightly bad girl” she’s been playing these days, but that may just be a result of me watching too much UnFabulous when i was 12. All in all the cinematography looks great, the setting seems really cool, and the music sounds good. Definitely I must see for the summer in my book ;)

Something I said I’d put up ages ago, for all the Gilmore fans, the one Alexis Bledel movie after Gilmore Girls that I really liked (Sisterhood, although entertaining, doesn’t count). And an added bonus is that it also stars one of my favorite young actors, Bryan Greenberg (aka Jake from One Tree Hill). Plus, if anyone notices, Blane from Pretty Pink also has a small role. 

The Greatest, a movie I saw a while ago and really enjoyed. Kinda depressing but good, although don’t take my word for it because I have a major soft spot for Carrie Mulligan(my fav actress) and Aaron Johnson(aka Kick Ass).

My second project for film class, a character film. Synopsis: A girl has recurring nightmares about a male suppressor while in her waking life she has a difficult time breaking up with her annoying boyfriend. It’s basically a film about how struggles in daily life can enter your dream life.
